It’s April! It’s time for many of us to enjoy the Spring weather, the warmer sun, the flowers, and spending more time outdoors. For other people, April is simply another month filled with the stresses that come from work, family, and life.
What many of you may not know is that April is Stress Awareness Month. Held every April since 1992, Stress Awareness Month is a time when health care professionals (and other individuals) join forces to increase public awareness about the causes, and the cures, for our modern stress epidemic.
One source of stress for many people comes from driving. Traffic, rude drives, rushing to get to work (or back home), and screaming kids in the backseat can get your blood boiling! For some people driving at night can be even more stressful.
